Adds password-protected prototype locking. (Pro only)
A document with a locked InData script is safe to share with anyone you want to be able to run the prototype without knowing its contents. Imports with a locked prototype do not require a password and work with both Pro and non-Pro InData licenses.
To lock a prototype, first ensure that the document has a prototype selected with InData > Use Story as Prototype. A story that’s selected as the document’s prototype has frames that show a prototype badge (View > Extras > Show Prototype Badge). Once a prototype is selected, use either File > Save A Copy with Locked Prototype, to save a copy of the current document with its prototype locked, or InData > Lock Prototype, to immediately lock the active document’s prototype. With either method, enter a password or passphrase (up to 255 characters) when a password is requested.
When a prototype is locked, its contents are removed from view, encrypted, and stored elsewhere in the document. Comment lines at the very start of the prototype are, however, kept visible, providing a way to show instructions and authors notes, and a “Locked with InData Pro” informational comment is added. Frames of the locked prototype also show a special locked prototype badge.
As long as a document has a locked prototype, no other story can be selected as the prototype.
To unlock a prototype, select InData > Unlock Prototype and, when asked, enter the password or passphrase that was originally used to lock it. (Unlocking requires a Pro-level license.)
We strongly recommend keeping a copy of the original document (one without a locked prototype) somewhere safe. Once a prototype has been locked, there is no way to unlock it without knowing the password that was used to lock it.

Supports marked text within tables and inline text frames when updating headers/footers. Lines of text within an inline frame count towards an initial search’s line limit. Likewise, lines of text within a table cell count towards the line limit. If the entire table row is empty (contains no lines of text), the table row itself counts as a line of text towards the line limit.

Fixes a problem where InDesign reports “The file could not be opened. You may not have permission…” when importing a resource that was auto-downloaded from a long URL. Now, InData reports “Download path too long” when a URL generates a local download path that’s too long for InDesign to handle. To fix this error, use a shortened URL, move the document folder closer to the volume’s root, disable Prevent naming collisions in InData’s settings, or, if links aren’t required for downloaded resources, disable Create links for auto-downloaded pictures in InData’s settings.
