Release: InCatalog 6/7.2.8.2 for InDesign CS4/CS5

February 14, 2011 by

This release provides a UI fix for folks using the X qualifier and sets the default ODBC character encoding, if not otherwise specified by the % qualifier, to UTF-8.

Changes

  • Changed the default character encoding of ODBC connections to UTF-8. Previously, it defaulted to MacRoman in Mac OS (use %”Mac” in your DD’s key field if you need to preserve this encoding) and WinLatin in Windows (use %”Win”). (Pro only)
  • Fixed a problem introduced in the 6/7.2.7 release where the active global key separator character was no longer being displayed in the palette’s key field.
