Release: InData 2.9.1 for InDesign CS5–CC2019
This patch allows embedded utf-8-encoded Unicode characters in Mac-Roman/Win-Latin imports.
Changes
- Fixes a long-standing problem where InData’s symbols in the Find/Change dialog’s special characters for replace popup menu were being added to the Find what field instead of the Change to field.
- Adds Other > Unicode Replacement Character to both of the Find/Change dialog’s special character popup menus.
- Allows arbitrary utf-8-encoded Unicode characters within Macintosh- and Windows-encoded text files.
- Gives an alert when invalid Unicode characters have been replaced with the Unicode replacement character (U+FFFD) during an import.
