Release: WordsFlow 3.2 for InDesign CS6, CC2019-2021
This release adds support for Apple silicon and includes general product improvements.
Changes
-
Installs a Universal binary for InDesign 2021 on macOS with native support for both Intel and, when used with InDesign 2021 16.3 (or later), Apple silicon (M1/ARM64) processors. WordsFlow’s About dialog now shows which slice of the binary was loaded as part of its version (as “(Intel)” or “(Apple)”).
-
Adds support for importing images within footnotes, endnotes, and comments.
-
Improves font detection for imports containing East Asian characters.
-
Allows the import of items using paragraph-relative object positioning, a feature provided by older versions of Word, instead of showing a “KeyError” message.
-
Fixes a problem introduced with the 3.0 release that could cause InDesign to show a Missing Plug-ins alert when a document saved with an InDesign where WordsFlow 3 is installed is then opened with an InDesign where WordsFlow is not installed even if WordsFlow was not used to place anything in the saved document.
-
Fixes a problem with the Import Options dialog that allowed it to auto-size beyond the size of the active display.
-
Fixes a problem where importing a Word document containing a hyperlink within a comment could fail with a “KeyError” message.
-
Fixes a problem where importing or updating an empty endnote could cause InDesign to shut down.
-
Fixes a problem that could occasionally cause an update to fail with an “AttributeError” message.
-
Fixes a problem with the import of some hyperlinks.
