Release: Xcatalog 3.13.1 for QuarkXPress 2016/2017/2018
This patch release fixes a few issues with key fields.
Changes
- Converts line-breaks and other space-like characters in text pasted into the tagger’s key field to plain old spaces. Likewise, special dashes are converted to plain old hyphens. Then, the field’s space character reduction rules are applied (where leading, trailing, and redundant spaces are removed, per the field’s DD settings).
- Fixes a problem introduced in the 3.13 release that could leave garbage characters on the end of keys of key-from-contents links.
- Fixes auto-quoting of odbc key fields, added in the 3.13 release, to ignore key values that have been manually quoted with single- or double-quotes or with Microsoft sql Server-style brackets.
- Allows arbitrary utf-8-encoded Unicode characters within Macintosh- and Windows-encoded data files.
